Job Description:
- Set annual sales and profit targets and forecast periodic sales as well as sales quotas for channels, regions, product categories and key customers
- Developing and implementing sales strategies, tactics and action plans to achieve sales and financial targets and expand the customer base
- Building long-term and strong customer relationships based on win-win relationships, regular customer visits and negotiations
- Cost of sales and performance analysis with appropriate recommendations and actions to increase efficiency and productivity
- Developing national and international salespeople through recruitment, selection, orientation, training and coaching of sales team members
- Planning, monitoring and evaluating sales team performance and providing frequent open and honest feedback to team members
- Monitoring markets and providing competitive overviews: products, prices, competition, proposing appropriate action plans
- Participate in national and international trade fairs to attract new customers
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, personal networking, participating in professional associations.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field
- A minimum of 10 years professional experience in sales including a minimum of 5 years in a management position
- Experience of working with foreign customers
- Experience and knowledge of sales in the food / FMCG sector
- Experience of working with private labels
- Fluent English
- An active B driving licence and willingness to travel frequently
